We developed Act Now Ontario as an advocacy news site representing small businesses in Ontario that are often adversely affected by government regulatory changes in the province. Regulators often act unilaterally on introducing new regulations without due consultation. Act Now is about getting people talking and holding government regulators accountable for their actions. This initiative was launched just before provincial elections in Ontario with a view to getting the attention of candidates and voters alike to raise the issue of government regulatory interfere with small business.

In the fall of 2013 Texas-based heat exchanger manufacturer Tranter International celebrated the opening of the largest service facility in North America in Edmonton Alberta. With a full range of servicing capabilities the facility handles all sizes and makes of heat exchangers. We’ll positioned geographically in Northern Alberta in close proximity to the huge oil sands projects the facility is attracting service projects from several regions across Canada from British Columbia to Ontario. Our assignment was to dramatize the range and scope of the facility and demonstrate to professionalism of the facilities technicians and commitment to a superior service. The presentation features a full tour of the facility and interviews with management and key personnel.

IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. (“IBC”) (TSXV:IB, OTCQX:IAALF) is a vertically integrated manufacturing and global rare metals public company based in Vancouver, Canada. IBC came to Strut for a corporate video for their Engineered Materials division about their Beralcast® Alloys manufacturing process.

The production included an animation sequence to visually demonstrate the company’s innovative casting process. As an add on to the original assignment to produce a video Strut also provided separate video files of the animation and CEO Anthony Dutton’s personal presentation segment for use in other presentation material. Elements from the video and animated sequence were also re-purposed as PowerPoint and Keyote presentations and a downloadable PDF document for easy distribution.

Graph Tech offers hundreds of options when it comes to upgrading your guitar, bass or just about any other stringed instrument.  The assignment given to Strut Media Group was to create videos to introduce three new innovative products; Tusq Man Made Ivory picks, the world’s first picks with built in tone; Ratio Tuned Machine Heads and Chops Pre-Play professional hand care for musicians. What better way to feature these new products than to have the founder, president and inventor of these break through products himself Mr. David Dunwoodie. A natural on camera, David’s easy, conversational presentation style intimate knowledge of the products was a great combination. We created a virtual environment for these presentations that compliment Graph Tech’s reputation for innovation.
